Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the sole female in history to have won her place in the CrossFit Games two times. The CrossFit Games were her second and third place. both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelandic CrossFit weightlifter and media celeb and CrossFit competitor - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Contests in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie and her parents and siblings, were born in Reykjavik Iceland. At a young age Annie was a huge athlete and loved training. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. The first time she participated was time in 2009 in CrossFit Games held in California and did well. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 years old (as as of 2021). She stands 5'7 tall and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in 2009. Annie was able to do very well in the initial contests. Annie was ranked among top 10 of over 70. Although she did not win any titles however she was able to finish with an 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She placed 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's instruction. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and was awarded the title due to her impressive performance. She became the first woman to ever succeed in winning CrossFit Games. Annie is the only female to have won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In 2014, she was awarded a gold medal. In 2021, she received the bronze. Annie is the current coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie is an athlete in the making, was featured in adverts to promote sports products, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs Transparent Labs among others. In addition to this she runs a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand followers where her workout lifestyle videos as well as travel videos are posted.
