Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and advocate for animal rights in America. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was in part influenced by her upbringing as a member of an New York family of artists. Beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Later on her work changed to modeling and directing. In her first two films her name was acknowledged as a winner of an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw became an international star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office worldwide. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
