Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very popular. Her mother raised her in the USA in a place where she endured several racial stereotypes, which caused her to feel as an unwanted person. As she entered the 9th grade she felt more comfortable after she was applauded by her teachers when she sang at the school's audition. This experience did not just help the confidence of her, but also altered her outlook on the future. In 1992, she received her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. As she was turning 23 she began her journey on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, aged 23 she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. The part of The Lad of The Lake was her most memorable breakthrough, bringing herself an award called the Tony Award in addition to praise from critics for her performance. In the following year she was cast in the role of the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. The actress is also a renowned singer and has released an extended play. Also, she is a campaigner and has been active in the field of LGBT rights.
